  1. Weekly Scheduled Day and Evening Local Group Rides

    Visit our website calendar regularly to check the available scheduled rides.  Rides are April thru October.  All local rides are FREE to all members!

    Explore serene Vermont with fellow cycling enthusiasts by bicycle while creating a social experience for you to get to know each other.  Make new friends including road and rails-to-trails riders. As a member, you'll receive access to our online membership directory to stay in touch with riders you meet.
     

  3. Recommendations and Advice on Bike Fit, Safety, Equipment, & Maintenance
    Learn from more experienced members on topics such as the importance of bike fit, road and trail safety, equipment selection, general maintenance, performance enhancement, popular ride routes of many different lengths and difficulties, sports nutrition, and other valuable tips, information and pointers.
     

  4. Leadership Opportunities to Help Organize and Lead Rides

    Build your skills and become a KPCC Ride Leader. We'll teach you how you can be a great leader and have more fun.  This is one way to help yourself develop better riding skills and you'll have the support of the club along the way.
     

  5. Access Our Members Only Section

    The Members Only section of our website members can access classified ads, articles written by members, general info, member bike equipment swap, and post cycling items for sale.
     

  6. Health & Fitness

    When you are a part of a group of like minded individuals it is easier to motivate yourself to meet your fitness goals, especially when you have others to ride with.  Ride as much or as little as you want.
     

  7. Social Events

    Annual Meeting and Pizza Party for active members and prospective members. Usually drawings are held for biking accessories and gift certificates valid at our sponsoring bike shops. The club financially supports certain post-ride barbecues and picnics. There are frequent post-ride get-togethers in local restaurants to enjoy sharing the events and features of the ride about life in general. Usually each member is responsible for their own meal.  Participate in a Spring Week of Riding in Virginia.
     

  8. Member Discounts at local businesses

    Members receive discounts through our sponsorship partners. See our sponsor page for more info.
     

  9. Club Insurance Policy

    As a member, our club insurance policy provides liability coverage for injuries involving an accident while participating in one of our club rides or at one of our club events.  This benefit comes with your membership at no additional cost.

Our membership is comprised of over 50 adults ranging in age from 18 to 65+.  Club members primarily reside within a hours drive from Rutland County, Vermont.


Membership is open to anyone age 18 years or older who is willing to abide by our club bylaws and safety guidelines.   Annual Club Membership runs April 1st to March 31st.
